I think that happens when you don't have the Japanese font loaded on your machine.

There are so many online and gaming pets these days.... my sister has a dog on Nintendo DS.. he is constantly parched and famished - I don't think she really looks after him. I am still shocked at the number of games of this type in the shops... does the site operate like this too ? do you have to feed it etc ?

You don't really need to feed him/her all you need to do is continue Posting your entries and she'll be happy..^^ no poopie to clean up and Stuff like that... She's Just your Guard, Friend. and Mood... When you're in a happy mood she's Happy.. when you're sad... she has mixed reaction *but mostly happy.. <,<* .. she even sings to you.. you just gotta figure out what she says because she sings in ASCII <,<;
