expedia.com usually has good enough prices.
try searching under preferred airlines.
malaysian is probably the best. you can get good prices, the food and service is good, and usually a free stopover in kuala lumpur. if you only spend a night there, the chinatown area has enough shopping to keep you busy.
etihad is a middle eastern airline, usually cheap too.
emirates, good deals and food, but usually change planes in Abu Dhabi/Muscat and won't let you stop over. steups. I am sure I recall getting on an "ole plane" as well for one leg.
air india - well you done see reva diss it, that looks like one mayhem airline.
thai airways. hmm well there has been bacchanal lately about crap food on international flights, not just bad but bizarre foods. too many people I meet say so for it to be made up. but aside from that they are good.
if you are interested in seeing australia, if you go there you get a free stopover in Thailand with Qantas.
for discount flights around asia while you are here, check out airasia.com
asiarooms.com you will find really cheap hotels.
